I wanted to take a moment to pass on my some of my thoughts about
your staff and your establishment. First, your facility is really
top notch, from your choice of club manufacturers, to your indoor
and outdoor practice areas, to your simulator and especially your
staff. Now I have to tell you I have been a client of Mark Csencsits
for years and he is the reason I initially visited your facility. On
that initial visit I received the professionalism and terrific
advice I have come to expect from Mark, but I also interacted with
other staff members including the both of you. Everyone was
extremely kind and helpful. That initial visit was 2 or 3 years ago.
Just recently I spent time with Mark to get fitted for first new set
of clubs in about 8 years. In the past I have spoken to other
"professionals" and some have made light about custom fitting. I
have heard things from "oh, you are a normal height and weight, the
standard club should be fine--most people are fine with the factory
setup", to "amateurs' swings change, so most of the fitting numbers
are irrelevant". Well, after Mark taking all the time needed, we
found the clubs and the proper club setup needed for me and let me
tell you that setup is anything but "standard". For those who think
fittings are only for low handicappers--- they should think again!!
I also believe I benefit from having Mark as my Pro as he has also
built my swing and knows my game. I have always recommended Mark to
people I know, but now I will be HIGHLY recommending Club Fittings,
hitting multiple clubs, and your facility. You are truly a Full
service facility and I truly feel comfortable there.
I also noticed that you employ a good number of "younger" adults. I
have to tell you that the respect and tremendously helpful nature
and knowledge of all of your staff is very refreshing, whether it is
the busiest time of the year or a cold day in the middle of
December. Kudos too, on your year round hours and indoor facility.
As mentioned, I visited your facility the first time due to the 8+
years that Mark and I have worked together, but you now have my
loyalty for all of my equipment purchases. Now when I talk to
friends and they discuss buying equipment on the Internet or
purchasing used irons---I cannot emphasize to them enough how
important it is to have a Pro evaluate your swing, fix you
mechanically, and then fit you for your clubs. By doing the fitting
we determined that the initial set of clubs I "thought" I wanted
were not right for me and that I would benefit from having my new
clubs customized--- so much for me being "Standard"!
By having that consultation I have purchased the correct club for my
game, adjusted for my swing, from a Pro I trust and a facility that
I am comfortable with. Hmmm.... but I possibly could have saved $100
or so on the internet by purchasing the wrong club, with a less
favorable lie, a shaft that was not fitted to my swing speed, from a
person I never met who may not back up a product that I will
probably have for 5-10 years-- hmmmm... some would said I made a
smart decision--- 'Ya Think!!

thanks again also to Rick! He is by far the best teaching
pro in the
area! Really gets to know his customers to understand specific
equipment needs without high pressure selling.
Really appreciate his help as well as the entire Sittler staff!

I just wanted to drop a short note thanking Mark for the patience
and professionalism he displayed during my recent series of
lessons. The instruction was first rate and has helped my game
considerably. I can't believe how much better I am playing and I
owe it all to Mark.

Mark:
Thanks for your help with Timmy. We just found out tonight he made
the Schuylkill League Boys All Star Team, with an average of 79.6
for the season. He played first on his team, they just finished an
undefeated regular season, and will be in the league playoffs
tomorrow.
He finished 11 out of 48 in the Sch League Tournament, with an 88.
His best round of the year was a 71 at Mountain Valley. Everyone at
the course knew he was under par, and came to 18 to watch them
finish. His approach was just over the green, and he used the chip
with the sand wedge you showed him to get it close enough to make
his par and save his 71.
Thanks for your interest in Timmy and your sincere efforts to help
him. I really appreciate it.
My game is still a work in progress. I am getting it, but it is
taking time. I got in the Schuylkill County Amateur this year for
the first time in a while. I played ok the first day and was four
shots off the lead. (79) The second day I shot 82, but realized what
happened later. Somewhere during the tournament I stopped using the
routine you showed Timmy and I. If we hadn't talked about it at
length, I would have never thought of that and would have thought it
was a swing or mental weakness. Not true, it was just a MENTAL
mistake. I hope to do better next year.
I did have one great round. I hit 14 greens and shot 74. I missed
some short putts, again, mental lapses that I understand and know
will not happen regularly. "Golf is not a Game of Perfect" helped me
understand this.
Anyway, thanks, and see you soon for my follow up lessons. I have
put my game on the back burner during Timmy's season. Hope to groove
everything before the winter.
Thanks.

Rick,
Just wanted to send a big THANK YOU your way for your time and
expertise last Saturday. Your points really have helped Judy hit the
ball much straighter!
It is a delight to be around someone like you, Rick. You obviously
have a love and passion for the game of golf and have equal
abilities
to teach others. That is a rare combination. We feel blessed to
have selected you to become our golf guru and look forward to more
good times with you.
Let me know when you get the Ping G10 fitting stuff in. I felt I had
the best feel with either the Ping Raptures or the Ping G10. I'll
come in for a fitting.
Until the next time,
Aaron
...thanks, Greg-----by the way, you guys run a class act at
Sittlergolf, Mark was excellent as was the rest of the
staff---------
I have already and will continue to recommend you to other
golfers, thanks

Patty & Rick
I would like to say thank you for having demo days and giving me and
others to have the opportunity to try out the newest equipment prior
to buying.
Getting the chance to see how a club feels and being able to compare
it to an other is really important in the decision process.
I bought a Ping G-10 driver and a G-10 utility club at the last demo
day and am very happy with both clubs.
I would also like to thank Mike for staying on top of special
orders. It took a little longer than expected to get me clubs, but
when I called to ask questions Mike already had to answers
concerning my order.
Thanks again to the both of you for the services you provide for all
of us.

Dear Rick, Mark and Andy,
Thank you all for such a pleasant experience in helping me pick
out my new driver on Friday. I had heard so many good things
about Sittler's and actually going through the experience only
reinforced the fact that you are THE BEST!!!!!...
Rick, I especially want to thank you for your trust in me by
letting me take my new club home and then just calling in the
gift card number, saving me another trip out there. I TRULY
appreciate your trust.
Mark, I will have to take you up on that driver lesson, BUT if I
do start launching them over the fence I am NOT going to
retrieve them...THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE ANDY NOW..LOL.
Andy, we miss you at "The Pond"...but you seem very happy and I
can see why with the great people there..
I will always be back anytime I need golf equipment and will
tell everyone about my this gem we have in the Lehigh Valley.
Thanks again to all..

To The Management of Sittler Golf,
I'm writing this letter to tell you about the great experience I had
choosing new clubs (irons) at your shop. As much as I wanted to get
fit for new irons, I had several concerns about the process. Where
should I go, will I get to try all the l cubs that I want to, will
the pro/fitter listen to what I want? After seeing Sittler's
endorsements from several top club manufacturers I made an
appointment for comprehensive custom iron fitting.
My pro/fitter was Mark Csencsits. Mark helped me select
new clubs with the perfect mix of listening and professional input.
I was able to try various brands, some I already had in mind and
some I hadn't thought about. We methodically worked it down to the
clubs I liked best and then got fitted.
It was great having a knowledgeable pro help me choose
with confidence. I feel sure that I am getting the best clubs that I
can get for me, as he not only told me what clubs fit my swing but
also why.
In summary, my fitting was educational, rewarding and
fun! The entire staff at Sittler's was courteous and helpful. Thank
you very much, I can't wait to hit the course!
Sincerely,
David E******
Rick, I just wanted to contact you in reference to my email in march.
I attended your demo day and had a great time. It's not often
that us lefties get the chance to hit clubs like that.
I think. .hopefully i have the right names.. Ricky and
Zack took great care of me once i was ready to purchase a club. It
was definitely a positive experience. Those guys were having fun
while helping people with their purchases. I did buy that 3 wood
that i was looking for from your shop and am looking forward to my
new clubs arrival.
That new super quad that i hit from taylor made was pretty sweet
and when the deal is right i think i might jump!!
I know that sometimes people only send the negative messages and
wanted you to know the flip side. Thanks Rick.

Rick & Patty Kline: (and to
all at Sittler Golf)
Hello. Good Evening. My name is Howie S*****
and I reside in Mahanoy, PA (Schuylkill County) some 50 miles for
the Kutztown Area. I just wanted to take this opportunity to pass
along some comments regarding Sittler Golf Center, as I recognize
the importance in running and maintaining a successful bussiness.
Within the last few weeks, I made several purchases at your shop,
all to my extreme satisfaction. I'm a mid to high 70's shooter,
however I enjoy the process of keeping up with latest available golf
technology and equipment. I usually upgrade most of my equipment
each Spring with the latest available models and have discovered
that your shop is very much "on the right track" so to speak. In
some 23+ years in my golfing past, I usually would travel to all
different types of shops in the early season, basically all over
northeastern PA in search of what I wanted to buy.
From my observations--you all WERE the FIRST to carry
the new PROV1s, the ONLY place that could QUICKLY find me a kit of
older rare-model Winn grips I use, the ONLY place that carried in
stock the new Titleist 907D1 Driver with my exact preferred specs
(which you also regripped overnight), as well as a Footjoy rainsuit
I had not seen anywhere but on the internet..
Additionally, last year I scheduled an equipment
analysis with one of your staff members which also was excellently
conducted. If you all are not aware, this type of service is
basically "unheard of" up in my area. And it was certainly well
worth the travel down there for it.
Keep up the great work! You've succeeded in providing
me with the equipment I needed for my first few rounds of 2007. I'm
sure this is what you strive for...so you have earned a new regular
customer. Thanks Again!!
